PTI MNA Alleges DC Quetta Shared Girl’s Contact, Asked Him to Meet

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member Adil Khan Bazai revealed in the National Assembly that the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Quetta sent him a girl’s contact number and asked him to meet her.

The disclosure was made during a National Assembly session chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, where members reportedly expressed surprise. Bazai said that when he questioned the DC, he was told that the girl was a “big fan” of his and was instructed to meet her.

Raising the issue in the house, the PTI lawmaker asked when it became the practice of a Deputy Commissioner to share girls’ contact numbers and suggest meetings, calling for the Speaker to take notice.

Senior journalist Sanaullah highlighted the incident on social media platform X, stating that the case shows how powerful and insolent Pakistan’s bureaucracy has become, noting that the screenshot reveals the Deputy Commissioner threatening a Member of the National Assembly.

This incident has sparked debate over bureaucratic conduct and accountability, as Bazai’s concerns were officially raised in the National Assembly.
