Mardan: The Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) is authorized to conduct testing of suspected patients of novel coronavirus and to generate its own lab reports.
According to a notification issued by the Directorate General Health Services (DGHS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Mardan Public Health Laboratory based in MMC is authorized to conduct the tests of patients with suspected Covid-19 disease and to generate its own lab reports.
The notification further stated that all reports generate by the laboratory will be shared with the DGHS via email. Moreover, laboratory reports shall have to be entered in the IPMS software on real time basis, the login and training for which be provided to the Public Health laboratory by DGHS.
The notification issued further stated that the districts in Mardan division shall send their samples to MMC.
