Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha Taken Back Into Custody After Release From Adiala Jail

Islamabad: Imaan Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chattha, have been re-arrested after their release.

According to police sources, Islamabad Police took Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha into custody and left Adiala Jail with them.

It may be recalled that the Supreme Court had earlier today granted bail to Imaan Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chattha.

The court suspended the trial court’s decision against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha and granted them bail against surety bonds of Rs2 million.

Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan had said that the bail was being granted until the final decision in the case pending before the Islamabad High Court.

The court observed that both are lawyers and that their dignity was being respected, adding that they should also be told to maintain the decorum of the court.
