Islamabad: The federal government has notified Sardar Ijaz Ahmed as federal secretary of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
According to a notification issued here on Tuesday, earlier Ijaz Ahmed was working as OSD in the Establishment Division. With this notification, he has been given new responsibilities.
The post had been vacant after the retirement of former secretary Mian Mushtaq Ahmed.
Ijaz Ahmed will soon assume his responsibilities.
