Cambridge International Exam Paper and Solutions Leaked in Pakistan

The mathematics paper for the Cambridge International examinations, one of the world’s largest and most renowned testing systems, has been leaked.

According to Media Reports, the leak occurred during the May-June session of the Cambridge International exams currently underway, with the AS Mathematics 1 paper, code 9707, being the focus of the leak.

The paper was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon across Pakistan and the region. However, late on Tuesday night and into Wednesday, the exam paper and its solutions were shared and went viral on the social media platform Reddit. Sources indicate that initially, an unsolved version of the paper was shared, followed by the solved version soon after.

One affected student reported that after the solved paper was sold on the app, it quickly spread on WhatsApp, further circulating across social media platforms.

Under Cambridge’s security protocols, exam papers are not allowed to leave examination centers, as students are supposed to answer questions from the official paper. However, an anonymous individual claimed responsibility for leaking the paper on social media, threatening to release more exam papers if Cambridge did not alter its approach to security.

In response to the leak, concerned students contacted school administrations, expressing their concerns. The administrations have advised students to provide proof of the leak for further investigation.
