Bilawal Refuses To Meet Firdous Ashiq Awan Amid Her Efforts To Resume Contact

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reportedly refused to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Special Assistant to PM Firdous Ashiq Awan amid her attempt to mend political ties with the PPP leadership after being removed from her position.

24 News reported that Awan claimed that her desire to meet Bilawal Bhutto was an important part of her efforts to ensure personal political revival and she tried to get in touch with him, but the PPP chairman did not seem interested.

Moreover, her recent visit to Sindh was disappointing also because she could not visit the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan with a VIP protocol.

During her trip to Sindh, she resided at the guesthouse of PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and arrived at the Circuit House in Multan on her return, where she reportedly misbehaved with the staff members after being denied a room in the government guest house.

According to sources, Firdous reached the Circuit House without any prior notice and harassed the workers to have a room prepared for her on an urgent basis. Later, the staffers called the deputy commissions for their complaints  against her.

The deputy commissioner took notice of the incident and filed a report to the relevant authorities against the former SAPM over her act of disrespecting lower level government
