Eid Outfit Criticism: Ali Zafar’s Polite Yet Sarcastic Response Goes Viral on Social Media

Renowned Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar came under heavy criticism on social media during Eid for his unique choice of attire, to which he responded in a refined yet sarcastic manner.

According to reports, Ali Zafar opted for a non-traditional style of clothing during Eid. On one occasion, he wore a light-colored, slightly transparent kurta paired with a dhoti-style outfit, while on another occasion, his coordinated outfit with his wife also caught the attention of users. However, his fashion choices drew criticism from certain quarters.

In response, Ali Zafar shared a story on Instagram, adopting a polite yet sarcastic tone. He “apologized” and expressed regret for wearing a light kurta without an undershirt and for having the “audacity” to wear traditional attire on the occasion of Eid.

He further added sarcastically that he now realizes his actions have become a matter of national and global importance, and assured that he would avoid making such a “mistake” in the future.
