Sanaullah Ghuman’s mother laid to rest
RAWALPINDI: Mother of Sanaullah Ghuman – Secretary General, Pakistan National Heart Association (PNHA) – passed on after long illness, politicians, journalists, and civil society members expressed condolences over the sad demise.
She was laid to rest after his funeral prayers were offered in Sialkot on Wednesday. The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of politicians, journalists, civil society members and layers.
Maj. Gen. (R) Masud-ur-Rehman Kayani – President PNHA – expressed profound grief and said that mother is the only relationship for which there is no substitute, Suffering the loss of your mother pains and stings unlike anything else.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for the rest of the departed soul in eternal peace and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
Those who attended the funeral prayer and express grief included Lieutenant General Azhar Rashid – Executive Vice President PNHA, Senior Vice Presidents Major General (retd) Ashur Khan, Dr Abdul Qayyum Awan, Vice President Col (retd) Ijaz Ahmed Rafi, Squadron Leader (R) Ghulam Abbas, Ejaz Akbar, Dr. Shahnaz Hamid Mian, Joint Secretary Murtaza, former Presidents of National Press Club Afzal Butt, Shakeel Anjum, President of Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists Amir Sajjad Syed, including from across the country.
Representatives of lawyers community, Anjuman-e-Tajran, journalists and civil society were also expressing deep sorrow.
Qul for the deceased to be held tomorrow (Thursday) at Sialkot.
