Rawalpindi: Station Commander visits Cantonment Hospital to check Anti Corona measures

RAWALPINDI: Station Commander Rawalpindi Brig. Ejaz Qamar Kiyani alongwith Deputy CEO Chaklala Cantonment board Dr. Sassi Malik Sher visited Cantonment General Hospital to check the Anti Corona measures being taken for patients in Cantonment premises.

He praised the efforts being put in by medics for preemptive arrangements against COVID 19.

Separate male and female isolation wards have been established, where suspected patients will be directed after initial check up by MO. Rs.1 mn were sanctioned for immediate procurement of additional personal protection equipment for hospital staff.

Cantonment dispensaries were also tasked to play their part in reporting as well as directing suspected patients to CGH.

Station Commander and Deputy CEO CCB also paid surprise visit to private hospitals including Hearts International and Jinnah Hospital located in Cantonment to check Anti Corona Measures.

A joint venture of public-private sort is being taken into consideration which would allow the nation to work as hand in glove.

This National crises needs to be dealt with firm hand for which Chakala Cantonment Board has planned to take the private hospitals in vicinity in loop to facilitate the locals of Rawalpindi. A plan of community clinic has been finalized which shall be initiated in the existing dispensaries of CCB where the patients will be guided step by step from point of symptom production till treatment and discharge
