PTI appoints MPA Abdul Salam Afridi, Engr. Adil Nawaz to top slots in Mardan chapter

MARDAN: Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Abdul Salam Afridi and Engr. Adil Nawaz have been appointed as president Rural and Urban respectively of the ruling Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in district Mardan.

According to a notification issued by Rizwan Bangash – General Secretary PTI Peshawar Region – MPA Abdul Salam Afridi has been appointed as President of PTI District Mardan (Urban) chapter while former Nazim Sajid Iqbal Mohmand has been appointed as General Secretary.

Other newly appointed office bearers included, Faisal Saleem – Senior Vice President, Haji Shafiq Ur Rahman and Abdul Raziq – Vice Presidents, Ishfaq Lodhi – Additional General Secretary, Shahzaib and Bakht Shad – Deputy General Secretary, Jawad Hussain – Finance Secretary and Ismail Rabbani – Information Secretary.

Engr. Adil Nawaz has been appointed as President for District Mardan (Rural) chapter while Faisal Anwar Adv. has been appointed as general secretary. Other newly appointed office bearers included Waqar Khan, Senior Vice President, Saeed Khan and Muhammad Khaliq – Vice President, Ibrar Khan Adv. – Additional General Secretary, Fazal Naseer – Secretary Information and Wisal Khan as Finance Secretary.

PTI also appointed Deputy Secretaries for all the Tehsils of district Mardan to assist the cabinet in the political affairs of their respective tehsils. Murad Khan has been appointed as Deputy General Secretary for Tehsil Rustam, Fazal Khan Mayyar for Ghari Kapoora, Abid Ali for Katlang, Engr. Hameed ul Haq for Takhtbhai and Haroon Khan for Mardan Rural.

MPA Iftikhar Mashwani hosted a party to congratulate the newly elected cabinet members of the District Mardan – Rural and Urban.

While talking to media persons – Engr. Adil Nawaz – said, giving respect to the workers will be the top priority but the workers should also respect and obey the party rules and decisions.

“We will try to bring the ideological and active workers to the cabinet union councils of district Mardan”, he maintained.
