KPCTA holds “Pyar, Phool aur Aap” festival

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority and Dost Welfare Foundation recently collaborated to organise the “Pyar, Phool aur Aap” festival in DHA arena, aimed at promoting the unique culture and traditions of Pashtuns.

The festival, held to mark the 30th anniversary of Dost Welfare Foundation, was attended by famous artists, including Yousaf Qureshi Bashir, Shahid Malang, Abdul Hanan, Wajih Farooqi, and Jaam Boys.

The festival was well-attended by people from different walks of life, including families and youth, who enjoyed thrilling performances by the artists.

Yousaf Bashir Qureshi recited his mystic poetry, while Shahid Malang mesmerised the audience with his performance on the traditional music instrument ‘rabab’.

Wajih Farooqi and Abdul Hanan also delivered remarkable performances that were unexpected for those in attendance.

The festival aimed to promote traditional skills and create awareness among the youth about the indigenous heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while also fostering a spirit of peace and unity through a cultural perspective.

Attendees praised the KPCTA for hosting such a festival, uniting the youth, families, and elders of KP, ensuring quality arrangements, and providing a family-friendly environment for visitors. The festival ended with an atmosphere of excitement and enjoyment, as the audience gave ovation to Yousaf Bashir Qureshi and other performers for their captivating performances.
