Two more staffer test positive for Covid-19 at Indus Hospital TMK
TANDO MOHAMMAD KHAN: One more doctor and ECG technician were tested positive for the coronavirus at Indus Medical College Hospital, Tando Mohammad Khan, after which the number of infected healthcare staff reached three.
Dr. Shumail Ghuri 28 years, who was Registrar (evening shift) and ECG technician Bilal Ahmed 27, both have covid-19 positive.
According to CEO, Indus Medical Hospital Dr. Iqbal Memon the latest results came as coronavirus tests were conducted for over 59 staff members, while more tests are being carried for rest 52.
The hospital sources said, hospital will remain closed for two weeks and during that period all efforts will be carried out to disinfect the hospital.
Dr. Mehboob Noonari, YDA General Secretary strongly condemns the IMC hospital administration for not taking the precautionary measures to protect the doctors which is very shameful.
