Pakistan Rejects Baseless Indian Allegations of Cross-Border Attacks
ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has strongly rejected what it calls “baseless and irresponsible” allegations by the Indian media, accusing Pakistan of involvement in attacks on Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar.
In an official statement, Islamabad denounced the accusations as entirely unfounded and politically motivated, describing them as part of a “reckless propaganda campaign” aimed at maligning Pakistan and destabilizing the region.
“This repeated pattern of unfounded allegations, made without credible investigation, is a deliberate attempt to manufacture a pretext for aggression,” the statement said. Pakistan warned that such tactics pose a serious threat to regional peace and reflect an alarming trend of misinformation being used for political and military objectives.
Urging the international community to take notice, Pakistan called on global actors to counsel India toward restraint and responsible conduct. “Any escalation based on false pretenses will be met with full resolve,” the government emphasized, reiterating its commitment to peace while reserving the right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The statement concluded with a firm rejection of the allegations “in the strongest possible terms,” affirming Pakistan’s vigilance and unwillingness to be provoked by false narratives.
