Indus Hospital in Tando Muhammad Khan sealed after a staffer tested positive for Covid-19
TANDO MOHAMMAD KHAN: More than hundred staff members, including doctors and nurses, of the Indus Hospital College Tando Mohammad Khan were asked to go on self-quarantine at hospital after its Registrar Dr Ameer Ali Channa tested positive for coronavirus.
According to Chief Executive Officer, Indus Hospital University, Dr Iqbal Memon confirmed that, the Registrar of Indus Hospital College Dr. Ameer Ali Channa have covid-19 positive on Saturday. He has been quarantined at District Headquarter Hospital T.M.Khan. Whereas, all the 106 staff members of the hospital have been quarantined and hospital had been completely sealed.
In his text message through his cell phone, informed that “All the concerned local authorities have been informed accordingly, I am inside the campus along with other team members around 100 people, we are awaiting testing kits arrival from Hyderabad/Karachi to test everyone inside the campus, once tests are done, we will take next step as per SOPs to ensure our people and assets are properly safeguarded against the virus”
With this the total number of covid-19 rose to 21 in district Tando Mohammad Khan.
