Microsoft launches ‘Security Copilot’ tool using GPT-4 AI
Microsoft Corp launched ‘Security Copilot’, a tool that utilizes OpenAI’s latest GPT-4 generative artificial intelligence model to aid cybersecurity professionals in identifying breaches, analyzing data, and detecting threat signals.
This prompt box assistant can assist security analysts in tasks like summarizing incidents, analyzing vulnerabilities, and sharing information with co-workers on a pinboard.
The tool uses Microsoft’s security-specific model, which is continuously fed with over 65 trillion signals every day. Microsoft’s investments in OpenAI, which recently released GPT-4 capable of performing a range of tasks, including creating a real website through a hand-drawn mock-up and helping individuals calculate their taxes, have helped it outpace competitors in the field.
