ISLAMABAD: Doctors had claimed that homeopathic medicine Arsenicum Album 30 is useful in prevention and treatment of corona infection.
In a Facebook post, Dr Jaswant Patil, who is a homeopathic doctor by profession in India and having degree of MD (chest) and BHMS, claimed that he recommended Ars Alb 30 to police official for the prevention of Covid-19 and the outcome was encouraging.
After is successful test, I formed a task force ‘COVID TEAM MUMBAI’ of 11 homeopaths and they got permission to treat only 6 patients of symptomatic first stage. All of them were COVID test negative on 4th day after giving homeopathy, he claimed.
They were tested next day again and all of sex patients tested negative he said adding now they need more patients to authenticate the efficacy of homeopathy.
Dr Jaswant stated that Homeopathy cannot prove itself in Test-Tube science but has proved effective in Evidence based science.
He appealed the Indian Government to allow his team and facilitate them to treat all cases of corona with hand in hand with their allopathy colleagues to beat Corona.
The Indian Government’s Ministry of AYUSH, which promotes alternative medicine systems in the country, released a health advisory on January 29 also recommended the use of a homeopathic preparation called Arsenicum album 30C and two drops of sesame oil in each nostril each morning for prevention of Covid-19.
Earlier, The Homeopathy Department in Karela State of India has distributed Arsenicum Album 30C among almost 4.5 million people across the state as a preventive medicine.
Drug Regulatory Authority – Pakistan (DRAP) also allowed the clinical trial for the preparation of Herbal and Homeopathic medicine to the Health and OTC Pharmaceutical companies who have applied to them for permission.
When contacted, Dr. Waqar Rabbani – Homeopathic doctor by profession – said, Arsenicum Album 30C generally known as Ars Alb 30 is not the treatment of the Covid-19 but this medicine boosts the immunity level of the patient, and both the allopathic and homeopathic doctors agreed on this point that Covid-19 effected patients having high impunity level recovers fast as compare to others.
He said, homoeopathy has a long history of treating and preventing epidemics ever since its inception.
Dr Nasir Chaudhary – senior doctor and former president of Homeopathic Council Pakistan – said, it is a fact that Ars Alb 30 improves the immunity level which helps in prevention of Covid-19 infection.
