Australia Seal 5-0 T20I Sweep Over West Indies

Australia wrapped up a dominant tour of the West Indies with a 5-0 clean sweep in the T20I series, winning the final match in Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis, by three wickets.
Ben Dwarshuis was the star with the ball, removing both openers and later dismissing top-scorer Shimron Hetmyer, who struck 52 off 31 balls. His efforts restricted the hosts to 170, with the West Indies eventually bowled out for 171.
Chasing 171, Australia stumbled to 25-3 and later 60-4 before Cameron Green (32) and Mitchell Owen (37) steadied the innings. Tim David provided fireworks with a quickfire 30 off 12 balls, including four sixes. When Green departed at 141-6, Aaron Hardie held his nerve with an unbeaten 28 to see Australia home with three overs to spare.
Australia captain Mitchell Marsh praised his side’s consistency: “I didn’t expect 5-0 at the start of the series, but we played some great cricket.”
West Indies skipper Shai Hope admitted batting failures cost his team: “We never put together a proper batting display. Against a quality team you can’t get away with that.”
Australia also won the preceding three-Test series, completing an emphatic 8-0 sweep across the tour.
