Islamabad: At least 67 employees of the Parliament House have been tested positive for covid-19 so far, according to a letter written by the Parliament House dispensary to the Senate Secretariat. As many as 382 employees were tested for covid-19; of which 67 tested positive for the Coronavirus virus.
The ratio of covid-19 cases among the National Assembly staff is 17 percent. The dispensary management has warned the Senate Secretariat that regular increase in coronavirus cases in the Parliament House can hamper Parliament affairs in the future.
The management said a regular increase in the number of covid-19 cases can be destructive for various reasons as well.
